A diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Coleman provides comprehensive ophthalmology services including cataract surgery, laser surgery for diabetes, glaucoma treatment, and eyelid surgery. Dr. Coleman earned her medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. She then completed her residency in ophthalmology at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. She has been located in the Mahopac area and affiliated with Putnam Hospital Center since 1978.

Dr. Shin, our optometrist, practices primary care optometry in addition to providing services in contact lenses and low vision. After earning her B. S. degree from SUNY Binghamton, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY State College of Optometry.

A diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Zaidman specializes in cornea and external diseases including corneal transplants, LASIK surgery and refractive surgery. He earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein School of Medicine in Bronx, NY, before completing his residency in ophthalmology at Beth Abraham Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital, also in NY. Dr. Zaidman has been affiliated with Westchester Medical Center since 1986. He has office hours at Mahopac Ophthalmology every other month, on a Wednesday evening.

Dr. Howard Charles specializes in vitreoretinal disease and surgery. He earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, followed by a residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. He is affiliated with Putnam Hospital Center and Northern Westchester Hospital.
